PURPOSE:To adjust the quantity of the leakage of a fluid at the irreducible minimum of a demand within a wide temperature range by pressure-supplying the inside of a tubular body installed between the base of a groove and a sliding material with the sliding-material pushing fluid and pushing the sliding material in the direction of a conveyor belt by specified force through the tubular body by the sliding-material pushing fluid. CONSTITUTION:Tubular bodies 13, 13, 14, 14 composed of an elastic body such as a rubber are mounted between the base of a groove 11 formed to a housing 8 and a sliding material 16. The insides of the tubular bodies 13, 14 are supplied with a sliding-material pushing fluid through a tubular-body fitting 33 through a pushing-fluid pressure supply means in order to compress and work an article to be compressed 34. The article to be compressed 34 is passed between pressure chambers 10, 10 by endless belts 2, 2 with the pressure chambers 10, 10 fed with a pressure fluid. The sliding material 16 set up to the housing 8 is pushed in the direction of the endless belts 2 through the tubular bodies 13, 14 by the sliding-material pushing fluid at that time. |
