<p>Furnace for reheating, holding and accumulating steelworks products, in which the products move along a path on beams, whereby said path is located so as to link at right angles a line of feeding rollers and a line of withdrawing rollers, said path being constituted by supporting beams for the products, and by transport beams located a certain distance from the supporting beams and capable of effecting a hoisting movement in relation to them and a horizontal shifting movement for step-by-step feeding of the products, and whose ends are placed between the rollers of the roller lines for removing and depositing products thereon, characterized in that the supporting beams (14, 15) are subdivided into at least two groups located one after another and capable of being elevated independently of one another, whereby the two groups of supporting beams (14, 15) and the transport beams (13) are capable of shifting vertically in relation to the roller lines (11, 12), in order to shift from a maximum elevation position in which the upper beams surface is at a higher level than that of the roller lines, to a minimum elevation position, in which the upper surface of the beams is at a lower level than that of the roller lines.</p> |
