<p>A process for determining a drilling instant during laser-pulse drilling plots an image of the bore for every laser shot and determines the associated grey-value histogram of the image. The brightness value thus obtained of the image is compared with that of the previous image, the laser being switched off if there is a significant drop in brightness.</p> |
