PURPOSE:To roughen a surface of a photosensitive body uniformly in a short time by performing grinding of the photosensitive body by setting a pressure of an abrasive on the photosensitive body at a somewhat higher pressure in an initial stage of grinding and changing the pressure to a somewhat lower pressure thereafter. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body 1 provided with an org. photosensitive layer is revolved and a file abrasive 2 is transferred from a feeding roll 3 through a pressing roll 4 to a winding roll 5. In this stage, a pressure of the abrasive 2 on a contact surface of the photosensitive body 1 is adjusted to a somewhat higher pressure in an initial stage of grinding by means of a roll 4, then the pressure is reduced thereafter to a somewhat lower pressure. An abrasive 2 prepd. by coating polyester film, etc., with fine particles of such as alumina, etc., and fixing the fine particles to the film, can be used as the abrasive 2. Rolls 4 made of rubber may be useable. |
