PURPOSE:To perform a trimming operation to cut off the unnecessary portion of film simultaneously with laminating operation with simple structure by a method wherein a narrow groove, which is connected to an outside negative pressure source, is made on the surface of a support jig along the outer periphery of each work and a film cutting means is arranged at the bottom of the narrow groove. CONSTITUTION:Narrow grooves 23, which are connected to an outside negative pressure source 28, are made on the surface of a support jig 10 along the outer peripheries of works W1 and W2 and the cutting means 24 of film F is arranged on the bottom of each narrow groove 23. In the laminating process, the film F is brought into close contact with the top surfaces of the works W1 and W2 as being stretchingly deformed and the deformation is developed bisymmetrically with respect to the center line CF of the film F. The positions of bisymmetrically arranged patterns M1 and M2 are also transferred so as to be correctly positioned to the respective positions corresponding to a pair of the works W1 and W2. Next, when the air left in the narrow groove 23 is sucked out by actuating the secondary negative pressure source 28, the film F is sucked in the interior of the narrow groove 23 so as to be automatically cut with a cutter 24, which is implanted onto the bottom of the groove. |
