PURPOSE:To remarkably refine appearance of the rear surface side portions of a foamed product and, at the same time, to constitute the front surface side portions and the rear surface side portions with different respective materials by a method wherein a front surface mold and a rear surface mold are connected to each other at their respective one ends by means of a pivot and a portal frame is pivotally supported by the pivot at the sides of these molds so as to pivotally support one end of a core by the portal frame. CONSTITUTION:This mold is equipped with a front surface mold 1 to mold a main band and a rear surface mold 2 to mold the external surface profile of a safety pad S and at the same time a core 3 to mold the inward-faced flange parts Sf. Respective one ends of the front surface mold 1 and of the rear surface mold 2, both of which contribute to the shaping of the upper end portion of a seat back, are connected to each other through brackets by means of a pivot 5, which is extendingly provided at the middle part of a base 4. At the same time, a portal frame 6, which locates staddling the connecting part of the ends, is pivotally supported at both the end parts of the pivot 5. One end part of the core 3 is pivotally supported by a shaft 7, which is horizontally extendingly provided at the proper position of the portal frame 6. |
