PURPOSE:To discharge to the external part smoothly the ground body to be ground with preventing the splash of the body to be ground and dusts by providing a cover body divergently formed at a grinding face side to discharge the ground body to be ground to the external part from the center part position where a grind finishing mechanism is located as well as surrounding the grind finishing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The body to be ground (e.g., paint for traffic section) 46 ground by abutting a grinding knife body 26 is maintained in non-splash state to the external part by a cover body 34 together with the dust thereof. Moreover, by progressing the grinder 2 whole body with reciprocating in the fore and aft directions, this ground body 46 to be ground is moved inside the cover body 34 from the center part of the cover body 34, where a grind finishing mechanism 8 is located toward the external part P thereof little by little and finally discharged to the external part P of the cover body 34. As a result, the pollution of the circumference of the grinding work site can be prevented in case of the grinding workability being improved. |
