PURPOSE:To precisely detect the parting line of a container indirectly even when the container has any irregular-shaped section by a method wherein a mark part, which has a certain fixed relation to the parting line, is provided on the bottom part or the neck part of the container so as to be detected. CONSTITUTION:A mark part, which indicates a parting line, is formed on the bottom part 5 or the neck part 3 of a container main body 1. Concretely, the mark part 20 consisting of a downward projecting part is provided at the dome part 5a at the center of the bottom part so as to indicate the positions and angles of parting lines 18a and 18b. By detecting said mark part during the course between a stretching blow molding process and a handle injection molding process, the parting lines of the container main body can be precisely positioned even when the container main body is fed at random from the stretching blow molding process and the parting lines of the container main body can correctly coincide with the parting face of an injection mold, resulting in allowing to injection-mold a handle. |
