摘要 PURPOSE: To detect the strength of the operating force of a player to a single operating device, and also to reflect this on the functional operation of a character on a screen by providing a push button with a spring by which it is energized in the direction that the volume of an air chamber is always increased, and also providing an air cylinder with an air vent hole communicating with the air chamber. CONSTITUTION: When a push button 21 is struck by a player from the above of the button cover 32, the push button is instantenously moved downward against the elastic force of a coil spring 22. Accordingly, a piston 25 is moved downward to instantenously reduce the volume of a cylinder chamber or air chamber A, so that the pressure inside the cylinder chamber is raised. However, since an air vent hole 29 of a small diameter is formed on the bottom wall of the cylinder chamber, the pressure rise in the cylinder chamber is restricted. In other words, at the moment the push button 21 is struck, the pressure inside the cylinder chamber is increased; however, the protective function of the pressure sensor such as the pressure inside the cylinder chamber is immediately returned to the atomospheric pressure is fulfulled. Further, the air vent hole 29 assists the immediate return of the push button 21 that has been struck downward, by means of the spring 22. Thus, the instananeous and continual striking of the push button 21 can be enabled.
