PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time by holding a decoded code in a correspondence table on a main storage device and omitting the file read processing to immediately decode the code in accordance with the correspondence table at the time of appearance of the same code. CONSTITUTION:The correspondence table between the code and meaning contents which is incorporated in a main storage device 5 is referred to decode encoded data 6 to convert it to decoded data 9. When a code corresponding to encoded data 6 does not exist in the correspondence table 8, data 7 corresponding to the pertinent code is added to the correspondence table 8 from a code/meaning correspondence file 2, where correspondence between codes and meanings is stored, through a corresponding data reading part 3. When the code corresponding to encoded data 6 exists in the correspondence table 8 on the main storage device 5, corresponding data is not read out but the correspondence table 8 is referred to convert encoded data 6 to decoded data 9. Thus, the processing time is shortened. |
