PURPOSE:To verify the error detecting and report function in a high level by combining a program routine of artificial error input with the system diagnosing method and generating an artificial error by an artificial error input device. CONSTITUTION:System general diagnosis (where conditions allowing all operations such as the contention operation between a central processing unit 2 and plural peripheral devices 7 are set and the test is executed with the system heavily loaded, namely, in the same condition as the user use environment level) is provided with a program 4 which outputs a trigger signal for generation of artificial error in a certain condition. The central processing unit 2 is provided with an external artificial error input device 5. Thus, the validity of various error factors generated in all dynamic states can be verified. |
