PURPOSE:To make a seal certainly as well as to cause no variation in the operation force by sealing the clearance between an outer casing and an inner cable with a water-proof cover. CONSTITUTION:A water-proof cover 10 is disposed cooperatively with an inner cable 2, anile said cover overlies the whole of the end portion of an outer casing 1 over the distance l longer than the stroke distance lo of forward and backward movement of said inner cable 2. When said inner cable 2 is operated, even if water is about to enter said outer casing from the top directly or along said inner cable 2, it is led from the end portion 1a of said outer casing 1 to the outside F by said water-proof cover 10 since the water-proof 10 always overlies the outside of said outer casing 1, thereby the water can be prevented from entering said outer casing 1 certainly. As the result, there is no anxiety to cause abrasion and damage in the end portion of said outer casing 1 and a high sealing property can be expected for a long time. |
