PURPOSE:To detect a faulty function circuit by providing an AND circuit between a monitor circuit and an OR circuit together with an output control circuit which owns the outputs in the same number as the function circuits, can change the output codes, and inputs the outputs to the AND circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a faulty function circuit is detected, two outputs 41 and 42 of an output control circuit 7 are set at '0'. Then a controller 12 checks the output of an OR circuit 11, and the fault of a function circuit 3 is decided when the output of the circuit 11 is equal to '1'. While the fault of a function circuit 1 or 2 is decided when the output of the circuit 11 is equal to '0'. In such a case, the following two outputs 42 and 43 are set at '0' and the controller 12 checks the output of the circuit 11. Then the fault of the circuit 1 is decided when the output of the circuit 11 is equal to '1'. While the fault of the circuit 2 is decided when the output of the circuit 11 is equal to '0' respectively. As a result, the controller 12 can monitor the faults of the function circuits per bit and at the same time can detect the faulty function circuits just by changing the output code of the circuit 7. |
