<p>PURPOSE:To absorb the shrinkage and expansion of a piping and a communication cable by constituting an expansion joint of a sleeve having a flange installing a box for receiving a communication cable installed between connected pipings, a ring seal member, and a spiral cable. CONSTITUTION:A communication cable 2 is disposed in the inner surface of a piping 1 with being buried in a liner material 3. A sleeve 10 is provided with a flange 12 having a box installing part 13 in the inside of its ring body part 11 center part. A ring seal material 15 is installed between the sleeve body 11 and the piping 1 followed by fastening. A box 30 containing a cable 16 spirally wound and having a connecting part of the communication cable 2 in its end part is installed to the box installing part 13 of the flange 12 of the sleeve 10. The communication cable 2 is connected to this end part. Consequently, the piping and the communication cable can absorb the axial shrinkage and expansion by the sleeve and the spiral cable, respectively.</p> |
