The manipulator drive head has three head parts, one behind the other, mounted for rotation w.r.t. each other about inclined axes which are at an acute angle to that of the drive head assembly. Reduction drives are fitted between the head parts. The two reduction drives have ratios configured such that precision m of an angle drive between inclined driver shafts is compensated during rotation of the middle head part. The reduction drives are pref. of differential harmonic drive type with gears. |
