PURPOSE:To surely detect the runaway of a digital processor by deciding the occurrence of the runaway in the case a pattern written into a memory is not coincident with the contents corresponding to the number of process steps. CONSTITUTION:The input data are supplied via an input/output means 1, and the execution of a program is controlled by a sequence control means 2. Then the executing address of the program and the input/output address of the arithmetic data are designated by a 1st arithmetic means 3. While various computing actions are carried out by a 2nd arithmetic means 4, and these arithmetic input/ output data are stored in a 1st memory means 5. At the same time, a specific pattern is written into a 2nd memory means 6 for each execution of a process. Thus the written pattern has the contents corresponding to the number of process steps when a counter means 7 is cleared at a prescribed time interval. Under such conditions, no occurrence of the runaway is confirmed. |
