<p>PURPOSE:To mass-produce a variable resistor suitable for soldering by using a closed type dipping method or a reflowing method by a method wherein a resistance substrate base material and a covering base material are pasted together and then they are cut. CONSTITUTION:Resistance films 5 are printed on a substrate 21, and through holes 22 and 23 opening to both ends are perforated. Electrodes 6 are printed outside the films 5 concentrically to them, and a through hole 24 opening to the electrode 6 is formed. Then, a bonding agent is printed on the region other than the printed surface of the base material 21, and a covering base material 25 is adhered. A recessed part 2a is provided on the covering base material 25 at the position corresponding to the resistance film 5 and the electrode 6, a rotor 3 is housed in the recessed part 2a, and a wiper 4 is housed in the recessed part 3c of the rotor 3. Then, the material is cut at the prescribed straight lines l1 and l2, and the title varistor is completed.</p> |
