PURPOSE:To expand a use range without damaging original information in a synthesized page by executing an arithmetic operation by a prescribed arithmetic rule for first and second bit patterns extending over the whole area of one page or in a partial area and outputting a combined bit pattern. CONSTITUTION:In the figure, the range from P to Q is an area designated so as to execute an EXOR operation. In this state, a test bit pattern (first bit pattern) 11 outputted from a text data developing part 2 and an overlay bit pattern (second bit pattern) 12 outputted from an overlay data part 3 are inputted to a composition operation part 4. Concerning the area designated by the composite operation part 4, each data is introduced to an EXOR circuit 4a. Since an EXOR circuit 4a executes the EXOR processing of the text bit pattern 11 and the overlaying bit pattern 12, in the figure, the parts of A and B are black white reversed. In such a manner, in the synthesized page, the use range can be expanded without damaging the original information. |
