摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce the relative rotating number in an early stage by starting an engagement control to clutches other than a clutch to engage on the sub- transmission side, in the case of a speed change having the possibility of occurring a speed change shock. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle is started, a controller 7 starts the engagement control of two clutches including a clutch to engage on the sub-transmission side of an automatic transmission 3, and a clutch to be engaged on the main transmission side. After the filling time of the main transmission side clutch is terminated and at the point of time before the engagement completion, a pressure control valve corresponding to a clutch pressure oil feeding device 9 is controlled in such a manner that the clutch pressure of other clutches except the clutch to engage on the sub-transmission side is made zero. Hence, the rotating energy of an input shaft 2a is absorbed to reduce the relative rotating number with an output shaft 3a in an early stage, and the occurrence of a speed change shock can be prevented.</p>
