A sensor responsive to one, at a time, of two driving signals detects whether thereis a user of a water flushing device at one of two periods, to produce a sensor signal selectively including a user- present signal and a user-absent signal of the one period. The sensor signal is used for controlling a water supply valve. The control in response to the user-absent signal issues a switching signal to generate the driving signal of the first period and in response to the user-present signal issues a second switching signal to generate the driving signal of the sencond period. A second control responsive to the water supply valve control signal operates the water supply valve.
