PURPOSE:To mainly eliminate a trouble in the case of developing red color and to especially improve fullcolor printing by transferring non-magnetic toner in developer on a magnetic latent image recording medium on a recording body with electrostatic force. CONSTITUTION:The developer 14 in a developing device 13 is carried by a developer carrier 16 and conveyed to the magnetic latent image surface of the magnetic latent image recording medium 11. In such a case, the non-magnetic toner is attracted to magnetic carrier with the electrostatic force, etc., by triboelectrification with the magnetic carrier. Then, the non-magnetic toner is made to adhere to the magnetic latent image surface of the magnetic latent image recording medium 11 together with the magnetic carrier attracted to the magnetic latent image surface with magnetic force in accordance with the magnetic latent image. Only the non-magnetic toner is attracted to the recording body 19 side with the electrostatic force and transferred on the recording body 19, and the magnetic carrier attracted to the magnetic latent image recording medium 11 with the magnetic force is left on the recording medium 11 side as it is. Thus, the trouble that the red color, etc., is not developed distinctly in a conventional system where magnetic toner is used is avoided and the fullcolor printing excellent in printing quality is performed. |
