A sawmill installation with trimming machine is proposed, in front of which is constructed an aligning table to which the boards or the like are supplied from the side with cross-conveyance and on the cross-conveyor are brought, if necessary, into the correct position for subsequent working or subsequent trimming. For better utilisation of the machine capacities, two workers have already been employed on the cross-conveyance. The object of the invention is to improve the capacity utilisation still further.
