PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric composition having improved dielectric constant and electromechanical coupling coefficient and sinterable at a low temperature by adding a specific amount of Al2O3 to a Pb(ZrTi)O3 material containing Sr substituting a part of Pb. CONSTITUTION:The objective piezoelectric ceramic composition is produced by adding 0.03-0.35wt.% (in terms of Al2O3) of Al2O3 or a compound forming Al2O3 by heating [e.g., Al(OH)3 or Al2(SO4)3] to a Pb (ZrTi)O3 material containing Sr substituting a part of Pb. The Pb(ZrTi)O3 material containing Sr substituting a part of Pb is expressed by PbASr1-A(ZrB.Ti1-B)O3 (A is 0.8-0.97; B is 0.52-0.57). |
