PURPOSE:To obtain resin for a toner having superior grindability by specifying the grain size distribution of granular resin obtd. by suspension polymn. CONSTITUTION:The relation between the amt. of a dispersant for suspension and the grain size distribution of resin for a toner obtd. by suspension polymn. is established beforehand and resin for a toner contg. <=10wt.% fine powder passing through a 200-mesh screen is obtd. by suspension polymn. When a toner is produced with the resin, the productivity can be considerably improved because the resin has improved meltability and kneadability as well as improved grindability. |
