DISTORTION CORRECTING METHOD FOR PATTERN FILM

PURPOSE:To correct the distortions of a pattern film with high quality by connecting (n) pieces of mappings obtained on (n) pieces of 2nd coordinate systems and outputting these mappings in the form of a piece of corrected pattern. CONSTITUTION:A pattern film 2 where a reference pattern is printed is produced in response to a molding product 2, and a distortion pattern of the surface of a molding product 8 is projected on a prescribed projecting screen to acquire aprojected distortion pattern. Then a projected image of a normal pattern free from distortions is put on the projected distortion pattern via a 1st coordinate system 18. The pattern mapping of the system 18 is obtained in a 2nd coordinate system 19 where the reference pattern is produced. The obtained mapping is used as a block copy of a corrected pattern. Thus a pattern film can be corrected with high quality.
