CONTROL SYSTEM FOR EXECUTION OF USE INSTRUCTION

PURPOSE:To delete the control information that designates a USE instruction by giving the numbers to the USE instructions stored in a program in the order of emergence and controlling the USE instructions with use of the emergence numbers as well as a USE number common control information area. CONSTITUTION:An input/output process part 12 executes the process of the input/output instructions stored in a program requested by a program execution control part 11 against a file 13. If an input/output error occurs during the process of the input/output instruction, the error is reported to the part 11. Thus the part 11 takes out the USE numbers if they are held in a file control information area 14 and a common control information area 15 by reference to both areas. While the part 11 executes the USE instruction of the USE number if it is held in only one of both areas. Furthermore the corresponding program numbers are obtained via a number substitute table 16 for both USE numbers if they are held in both areas respectively. Then both program numbers are compared with each other, and one of both USE instructions is selected and executed based on the result of the comparison.
