PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorizing mateiral keeping deodorizing effect by suppressing volatilization and held to a carrier having a proper particle size and hardness by absorbing a cyclodextrin inclusion compound including a deodorant or/and an aromatic in the gaps of inorg. material particles. CONSTITUTION:Four components of cyclodextrin, water, a deodorant or/and an aromatic and an inorg. material such as a silica gel, zeolite, alumina or gypsum are mixed under stirring and solid substances are separated from the resulting mixture to be washed and dried. As cyclodextrin to be used, each of alpha-, beta- and gamma cyclodextrins may be used alone but a mixture thereof is used in general. The amount of water to be used is limited to the min. amount not bringing about trouble in stirring. As the deodorant, a normal commercial deodorant consisting mainly of a tea extract can be used. As the silica gel, any type is used but one having a proper particle size (about 5-10 mesh) is pref. |
