PURPOSE:To suppress fluctuation of torque to be produced from a brushless DC motor by making notches in a magnet at such positions as separated by approximately + or -180 deg./np in the circumferential direction from the lines for separating respective magnetic poles equally into two. CONSTITUTION:Notches 12a, 12a are made at positions separated by approximately + or -7.5 deg. in the circumferential direction from the lines for separating respective magnetic poles of a magnet 12 into two. When the number of the magnetic poles of a disc magnet is P and the number of sets of exciting coil is (n), the notches may be made at positions separated by approximately + or -180 deg./np in the circumferential direction from the lines for separating respective magnetic poles of the magnet into two. |
