PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having improved sensitivity by constituting a charge transfer material of a butadiene deriv. useful for the improvement of the sensitivity in combination with a specified hydrazone compd. and forming a charge generating layer with a coating soln. consisting of a specified solvent. CONSTITUTION:A charge transfer layer and a charge generating layer are laminated on an electroconductive base material in the described order, and a butadiene deriv. expressed by the formula I, 4-(N,N-diethylamino)benzaldehyde- N,N-diphenyl hydrazone and/or 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)benzaldehyde-N,N-diphenyl hydrazone are incorporated in 30:(70-65):35 proportion by weight into the charge transfer layer. Further, the charge generating layer is formed by coating with at least one kind of solvent selected from ester type solvents, ether type solvents, halogenated solvents, ketone type solvent, cellosolve type solvents, S-contg. solvents, amide type solvents and aromatic solvents. In the formula I, each Ar1-Ar4 is an aryl group which may be substituted. Thus, a laminated type electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity but causing scarce crystallization nor crack generation is obtd. |
