SELF-PROPELLING APPARATUS IN PIPE

PURPOSE:To get over a discontinuous part even when said discontinuous part like a T-shape pipe part is present on the way of a pipeline by providing an insertion guiding holding body protruding from the leading end of a moving unit in an advance and retraction moving direction thereof to engage with the inner wall part of a front lumen receiving insertion. CONSTITUTION:The insertion guiding holding body 40 engaging with the inner wall part of a front lumen receiving insertion is provided to the leading end of a moving unit 2. The insertion guiding holding body 40 consists of a hand 41 extensible in the axial direction and the guide balloon 42 provided to the leading end thereof. The hand 41 is constituted in a magic hand shape wherein pantographs are continued by pivotally mounting a large number of arms 43 by a shaft pin 44 successively composed of rivets. The member 47 for mounting the guide balloon 42 is fixed to the protruding of the hand 41 and the guide balloon 42 is mounted in an airtight manner so as to cover the outer periphery thereof. An air lumen 48 is formed between the balloon 42 and the outer periphery of the member 47. An air feed tube 49 is connected to said air lumen 48 and guided to the moving unit 2 through the hand 41 and connected to the outside through an insert cable.
