PURPOSE:To allow a person in charge of maintenance or service to know the details of a fault and to complete repair through a simple operation, and to improve the maintenance, by automatically storing the details of the fault in an equipment body, such as an automatic vending machine, when the fault occurs to the equipment. CONSTITUTION:A CPU1 for controlling the whole of electronic equipment connects with an RAM2 wherein the working contents, operation contents, fault contents, etc., of the equipment are coded and stored previously, and an ROM3 for storing a program. To a control bus 4 connected to the CPU1, a clerk panel 5, a customer console panel 6, coin and note mechanisms 7 and 8, a journal printer 9, a fare revision part 10, a printing mechanism 11, a character memory 12, etc., are connected. Once a fault occurs, the contents of the RAM2 are read out successively under the control of the CPU1 and the details of the fault are printed in codes on a form in the printer 9. A clerk checks the details of the fault on the form to complete repair through simple operation. |
