A synchronisation fitting for simultaneously opening or closing both frames of a double window comprises a rail 1 with a slider 2, which can only be moved along the rail 1 between the slider stops 3 and 4, which are fixed to the rail 1. Fixed to the slider by a rotary pivot joint 15 are two arms 5 and 6, which at their second end are rotatably fixed to the frames 10 and 11 by the frame fittings 7 and 8. The rail 1 is fixed through the holes 14 to the window casing, and the frame fittings 7 and 8 are fixed through the holes 16 to the frames 10 and 11. When opening frame 10, for example, the arm 5 will draw the slider 2 towards the slider stop 4, as a result of which the arm 6, by way of the common anchorage 15 of the arms to the slider 2, will be pushed forwards and thereby press on the frame 11, which is consequently opened synchronously with but in the opposite direction of the frame 10. When closing frame 10, for example, the reverse pull-push situation will result in the frame 11 also being closed. The synchronous frame movements also occur if frame 11 is being opened or closed as the leading frame. <IMAGE>
