In this case, the change state of the slip quantity is detected by a means MD. The change state of the car acceleration is detected by a means ME. The optimum slip quantity is judged by a means MF based on the change state of the slip quantity and the change state of acceleration. The target slip quantity is corrected by a means MG based on the judged result of the means MF. The slip quantity of the driving wheel MA is made to coincide with the optimum slip quantity, and the driving force of the car is controlled to the maximum.
