<p>PURPOSE:To easily relieve a normally-on and a normally-off defect by providing a connection line on between picture element electrodes which adjoin to each other along a data bus line across an insulation layer which is irradiated with laser light normally in an insulation state. CONSTITUTION:The connection line 5 is provided on between picture element electrodes 4 which adjoin to each other along the data bus line 2 across the insulation layer 7. Therefore, if a normally-off picture element defect is caused, the adjacent picture elements 4 are connected by using the connection line 5 to perform the same display operation as the adjacent picture elements. If a normally-on picture element defect is caused, the picture element is cut with the laser beam into a normally-off picture element and the adjacent picture element electrodes 4 are connected mutually by using the connection line 5 to perform the same display operation with the adjacent picture elements. Consequently, the defect is not discriminated as a picture element defect to easily relieve the normally-off or normally-on picture element.</p> |
