Sawblades are produced two at a time from a steel strip. The steel strip is stamped along a zig-zag longitudinal line so that two strips are produced with each strip having a serrated edge. Instead of stamping along a continuous line, the initial strip (110) may be cut into two parts by stamping a line of overlapping triangular holes to produce two blades (114, 115). USE/ADVANTAGE - Production of sawblades with min. wastage of material.
