OUTPUT COUPLER FOR OPTICAL FIBER

The coupler has synthetic resin material for receiving a number of fibres and for directly applying laser beams to a workpiece. An arrangement disposed in the body adjusts the spacing and angle between the fibres. This arrangement has a screw disposed to engage a fibre at a position and a spring having two ends. The first spring end engages the fibre opposite the first screw and the second spring end engages the body. - A first pair of slots are parallel w.r.t. each other. A second pair are at 90 degrees w.r.t. each other.
