PURPOSE:To easily restore the operation history of a communication equipment in a field at the time of the occurrence of a fault by readably preserving the state change of the communication equipment in a non-volatile memory. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring circuit 13 monitors and stores the operation state and the fault state of a communication equipment 11 and consists of a state monitoring circuit 130, a control circuit 131, a state memory 132, a time counter 133, and a monitoring circuit power source 134. The state monitoring circuit 130 collects the on/off state of the power source of the communication equipment 11 and the operation state and the fault state of each element constituting the communication equipment 11 under the control of the control circuit 131 and outputs them to the control circuit 131. When the fault state of the communication equipment is changed, the operation state and the fault state at this time and the time are written in a non-volatile storage means 132. In this case, the contents of the non-volatile storage means 132 can be read by the external operation of the communication equipment 11. |
