<p>PURPOSE:To provide a different metal pipe fitting easily by subjecting a clad plate whose two surfaces are in the same material as the metal pipes to be coupled, to deep contraction processing, obtaining a vessel-shaped object with its bottom side having a smaller dia. and the upper opening side having a greater dia., and then cutting off the bottom. CONSTITUTION:A clad plate 1 obtained by joining two plates 2, 3 in materials A, B constituting a different metal pipe fitting is set in a die 30 and subjected to deep contracting using a punch 31, and a vessel-shaped article 35 is formed, whose bottom, upper opening, and middle consist of a miner dia. part 31c, a major dia. part 31e, and a tapered part 31d, respectively. Then the bottom of this article 35 is cut off, and the outside surface alongside a major dia. part 30e of die hole 33 and the inside surface alongside the minor dia. part 31c of the punch 31 are machines in parallel with the pipe axis so that a1 least the pipe ends are of different materials. This allows easy fabrication of a different metal pipe fitting whose joint surface has an arbitrary inclination in the wall thickness direction.</p> |
