<p>PURPOSE:To easily fabricate a spiral corrugated pipe of hard PBC having excellent weatherability and large strength against deformation under pressure by interposing a soft plastic material with affinity between the overlapped portions of a wound hard PBC band, and subjecting it to fusion attachment process. CONSTITUTION:A hard PBC band 2 is wound spirally, and certain widths thereof adjoining each other are overlapped 2a, 2b in the thickness direction so as to form a pipe A, whose wall 1 will get corrugated spirally. Therein a soft plastic member 3 having affinity with hard PBC material is interposed between the overlapped portions 2a, 2b of the wound hard PBC band 2, which are subjected to fusion attachment process to constitute one continuous pipe. This allows easy fabrication of a large corrugated pipe with a large strength against deformation under pressure, wherein no large-scale extruder is required, but only change in the mandrel dia. will enable fabrication.</p> |
