摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To prevent the significant deterioration of a picture quality due to leakage currents or flicker by conductively connecting a pixel electrode with the common point of two non-linear double-pole switch units serially arrayed between a row electrode for data signal and an electrode for a reference voltage. CONSTITUTION: A tripe type (for example, metallic) row electrode 8 is arranged between the rows of pixel electrodes 6, and each pixel electrode 6 is connected with the row electrode 8 by a diode 9. Relevant row electrodes 8a and 8b are arrayed between two picture electrodes 6a and 6b. Also, an auxiliary electrode 18 having the two rows of the common pixel electrode 6 arrayed at the side part of the pixel electrode 6 different from the side of the tow electrode 8 is present between the rows of the pixel electrode 6, and the pixel electrode 6 is connected through a diode 19 with a standard voltage by the auxiliary electrode 18. Thus, each line of pixels is separately written, and the voltage of the both ends of the pixel is inverted for each line. Thus, further high face flicker frequencies can be generated, and a further stable picture can be obtained.</p>
