Programme-controlled domestic washing machine with a water-softening device

A complete flushing-in of washing agent must be guaranteed even when the water-pipe pressures are low. Known washing machines with a water-softening device, on account of their water-pipe routing, have flow losses which are too high. The washing machine according to the invention is designed in flow terms in such a way that a thorough flushing-in of washing agent is ensured even at low pipe pressures. The water inflow (1) with flow regulator (2) branches into a pipe string (3), which leads to a solenoid valve (5), a free air stage (6''), an ion exchanger (6') and directly into the tub (7), and into a second parallel pipe string (4) which is laid to a washing-agent flushing-in container (8) with solenoid valves (9, 9', 9'') and which thereafter likewise opens directly into the tub (7). The full water-pipe pressure is therefore available to both pipe strings (3, 4). The flow passes through the pipe strings (3, 4) in a manner staggered in time by means of their programme-controlled solenoid valves (5, 9, 9', 9''). The programme-controlled domestic washing machine with a water-softening device can be used in areas both with high water hardnesses and with low water-pipe pressures. <IMAGE>
