发明名称 CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE REDUCTION GEAR
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To make a variable range of reduction gear ratio, besides compact in size by varying a rate between drive time and nondrive time of a clutch transmitting rotation of a driving shaft intermittently to a driven shaft, in succession. CONSTITUTION:If a clutch 16 is in a driving state, a reduction gear ratio between a driving shaft 11 and a driven shaft 17 comes to 1, but operation of the clutch 16 is controlled by a control circuit 18, and power transmission is intermittently performed, so that in proportion as increasing a time when the clutch 16 is in a nondrive state, mean rotational frequency of the driven shaft 17 is lowered to that of the driving shaft 11, and thereby the reduction gear ratio is increased. At this time, rotational energy is much stored at the side of the driving shaft 11, and if the nondrive time becomes longer, the driven shaft 17 is drivable with large torque. A rate between the drive time and the nondrive time is controlled by the control circuit 18 intermitting power being fed to the clutch 16. With this constitution even if a variable range of the reduction gear ratio is enlarged, a reduction gear itself remains compact in size.</p>
