PURPOSE:To obtain constantly stable performance without changing the distance between an induction coil and a cooker by providing a ring-shaped protruding portion protruding upwardly from the bottom portion of a protecting frame in the vicinity of a sensor portion for sensing the temperature of the cooker, and also providing a clearance between the bottom portion of the protecting frame and the bottom portion of the cooker. CONSTITUTION:A tubular protecting frame 3 for storing a cooker 2 is arranged inside the main body 1 of a tubular, double-structured cooking apparatus. The protecting frame 3 is molded from thermoplastic material, and an insulating material 5 is provided between the frame 3 and the main body 1 of the cooking apparatus which is located outside the frame 3. The cooker 2 is formed at its outer face as a magnetic body and also at its inner face from a clad steel plate which is formed from aluminum with good heat-conductivity, and a flange portion 2(a) located at the upper end of the cooker 2 is put on the flange portion 3a of the protecting frame 3 which is located at upper end thereof. Also, a sensor portion 27 which, receiving heat from a thermosensitive plate 24, detects the temperature of the cooker 2 by means of a thermister 25 is provided in a recessed portion 3f at the bottom portion 3c of the protecting frame 3, and is pushed toward the cooker 2 by means of a supporting spring 25. A ring-shaped protruding portion 3(g) protruding upwards is also provided on the bottom portion 3(c) of the protecting frame 3, and a clearance A is provided between the bottom portion 3c of the protecting frame 3 and the bottom portion 2b of the cooker 2. |
