PURPOSE: To prevent confusing and leakage of gases, by controlling and monitoring each work of anesthetic gas supplying and mixing, preparing and mixing of anesthetic and mixed gas, guiding the mixed gas to a patient circuit by a central control device. CONSTITUTION: Oxygen 1, N2 gas 2, etc., flow together from suction inlet 1-3 through a filter and are guided to an orifice 16. The flow rate measured by the orifice is transmitted to a control device 20. Gas is transported to a storage tank 21 and an in-tank pressure convertor 24 transmits the pressure in the storage tank 21 to the control device 20. A flow rate control valve 26 produces a continuous gas flow from the storage tank 21 and the flow rate is transmitted to the control device 20. A liquid preparing device 33 takes out prescribed quantities of fluid anesthetics 31, 32, converts them into gas at a vaporizer 36, hold the temperature constant, and transmits the temperature value to the control device 20. The gas anesthetic and a gas flow are mixed at a mixing room 38 and supplied to a patient. Thus safety and accuracy of an anesthetic machine is secured. |
