PURPOSE:To generate a sound of free tone quality by interposing a switch between the output of a 1st DA converting circuit and a reference voltage at which the gain of a 2nd DA converting circuit is 0. CONSTITUTION:The MOS switch 65 is provided between the output terminal of the 1st DA converting circuit 58 and the reference voltage at which the gain of the 1st DA converting circuit is 0. For example, the MOS switch 65 is turned on when loudness data from a main ROM become all 0. Consequently, the waveform of a free sound and the strength of an envelope and the sound are provided to generate sound of various tone quality, and rhythm sounds of different tone quality are generated. |
