发明名称 IGNITION METHOD FOR SINTERING RAW MATERIAL IN SINTERING INSTALLATION
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of the coke oven gases to be used, that is, the consumption of coke by effective utilization of blast furnace gases of low calorific value by using a gas contg. CO as an essential combustible component as fuel for the ignition furnace of sintering installations and specifying the ejection of said gas and air. CONSTITUTION:A burner 1 is mounted to the ceiling wall 2 of an ignition furnace with inclination in an advancing direction D of raw materials, and a suitable gas-air mixing chamber 3 is formed between the preceding end thereof and the wall 2. The above- described fuel gas 6 of <=2,000kcal/Nm<3> calorific value is supplied into the inside cylinder 4 of the burner and is ejected in the divergent direction A from the center of the preceding end of the burner. On the other hand, air is supplied between the inside, outside cylinders 4, 7 of the burner and is ejected spirally in the convergent direction B from the preceding ends of the outside cylinders. Then the gas and the air are quickly mixed and burned, and the tips of flames contact with the raw materials or space slightly therefrom, thus making it possible to ignite the raw materials. Thus the excess rate of air is decreased and the moisture in the combustion gases is decreased, whereby the use of fuel of low calorific value is made possible.
