The sensitive arrangement is used in a vehicle for the operation of the locking mechanism (B) of a seat belt roller having an inertia mass. On rapid retardation or acceleration the roller moves from a rest position to a locking position. A transmitter unit (A) in the form of a pneumosensor is fitted under the vehicle seat and connected to the belt roller by a pipe (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - Seat belt locking mechanism in which the belt roller and the sensor can be placed in different parts of the vehicle.
