Apparatus for producing mouldings

The invention relates to an apparatus for producing in particular large-area, panel-like mouldings of essentially rectangular base area from curable, laminated material, for example plastic, comprising a mould with a planar baseplate and four bars arranged on the latter at right angles with respect to one another for forming lateral moulding areas. To adapt this apparatus easily, without any great effort, to a change of the base area of the mouldings and to use the said apparatus in particular even when mouldings of a larger base area are produced and/or the moulding areas are not planar, the bars are arranged individually, loosely and without guidance on the baseplate, in each case bear by a form fit with one end flush against the moulding area of a neighbouring bar and have on their underside in each case at least one area which is bounded by a seal and can optionally be connected via a line to a vacuum device.
