PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having high photosensitivity in an oscillation region (780-830nm) of semiconductor laser and small dark decay by incorporating an X-type metal free phthalocyanine dye into a charge generating layer and a specified compd. into a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:An X-type metal free phthalocyanine dye is incorporated into a charge generating layer and a charge transfer material expressed by the formula I or II is incorporated into a charge transfer layer. In the formulas I and II, R<1> is a lower alkyl group; each R<2>-R<10> is H or a lower alkyl group, but at least one of R<9> and R<10> is a lower alkyl group. In this case suitable lower alkyl group is methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl group, etc. Thus, an electrophotographic sensitive body having high photosensitivity in >=780nm wavelength region, high chargeability, chargeability characteristics generating extremely low residual potential, as well as superior photosensitivity of small half decay exposure, is obtd. |
