<p>A self-locking knee joint for a whole-leg caliper, the joint has a thigh part and a calf part connected by a pivot assembly. The joint also includes locking surfaces which are activated by the user applying weight to the thigh part, which locking surfaces fix the thigh part to the calf part during a gait swing phase, but release the calf part during a gait stance phase.</p> |
